Menifee and Perris Community Holiday Event Calendar

When Jesus Christ was born, angels proclaimed, “Peace on earth, good will to men.” This December, the promise remains the same. As we serve others the way Jesus served, we can end 2021 on a hopeful note.
Here in Menifee, we have a unique interfaith calendar, designed to help light the world with goodness and joy through service opportunities, holiday activities, and faith filled celebrations. Here is a list of holiday events:
November 23- An Evening of Gratitude
Please join the Menifee Interfaith and Community Service Council as they present a special service of music and messages from churches in the community. Themed "Because I Have Been Given Much". Collections for non-perishable goods to benefit the Menifee Community Cupboard are requested. You can also donate via Paypal here. (29725 Bradley Rd. Menifee)
November 29-December 13: Menifee's Xtreme Light Fight
Virtual home decorating contest! Public voting will take place online between December 13 and December 19. The winners will be announced and recognized on the city’s website and social media accounts on December 20. One winner will be selected in each of the following categories: Best Theme: Best use of them for year display, North Pole Neighbor: A festive display that would make Santa proud, Inflatable Fun: Five or more inflatables, Clark Griswold: Over the top lighting display, Community Favorite: Best overall selected by the community.

November 30: Menifee Menorah Lighting
Join the Chabad of Temecula from 5:30 to 7:30 at Menifee Central Park (30268 Civic Plaza Dr.) for games, activities, and a traditional menorah lighting. For more information, you can contact the Community Services Department at communityservices@cityofmenifee.us or 951-723-3880.
December 1st-31st: Volunteer at the Menifee Community Cupboard and Thrift Shop

December 3rd: Women's Christmas Celebration and Market
Join the Revival Christian Fellowship church at 4:30 for this pop-up shop and followed by a holiday service (7:00, 29220 Scott Rd. Menifee.). This fun kick off to the holiday season is perfect to bring a friend and grab dinner from a vendor.

December 3rd: Perris Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Annual Christmas Tree Lighting is a reason to celebrate the season in Perris, California! Stop by the City Hall (101 N D Street, Perris) from 6:00-8:00 for festivities. The Christmas tree will be lit at 6:00 p.m. with performances from local community groups to follow. Enjoy the kickoff of the Perris Ice Rink! Skate rental and 40-minute skate session • $5.00 / person. For Pre-registration, please call the Community Service department at (951) 943-6603.
December 4th: Christmas Musical Celebration
Come enjoy an evening of holiday music and Christmas celebration through music presented by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. An hour long presentation of children's choirs, individual groups, hymns, orchestrations. All ages welcome! (29725 Bradley Rd. Menifee)
December 4th: Menifee Christmas Tree Lighting and Community Parade
Join the city of Menifee at MSJC campus for their annual Christmas Tree Lighting! Beginning at 4 and going till 8, come and enjoy games, crafts for kids, a lighted wonderland with photo ops, and snow for sliding! Parade will begin at 5:30. Entertainment for the evening will be provided by local community groups along with a special appearance from the big man himself, Santa! This event is FREE to the public and open for all ages. This year, the City is teaming up with the Menifee Valley Community Cupboard and Menifee Police Department to collect food and gift donations for Menifee families in need. For admission to the snow area, please bring either canned good items to be donated to the Menifee Valley Community Cupboard and/or an unwrapped gift to be donated to Santa’s Workshop. The first 500 guests will receive a free ornament.
December 4th: Come Let Us Adore Him
Come and attend a story of carols and song presented by the Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church. Beginning at 6:00, and held at 29885 Bradley Rd. Sun City.
December 4th-27th: Mary Chris Mess House
This community favorite pastime will open every night from 6:00-9:00 PM. Please bring donations of non-perishable food items to support the Menifee Valley Community Cupboard and new, unwrapped toys. Santa's picture area will be open every night for family self-photos. Frosty, Mrs. Claus, and Santa may or may not be here.
December 5th: Christmas Devotional Broadcast
The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invites you to join their annual Christmas devotional on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Including inspirational messages and performance by the Tabernacle Choir. View more information for watching this event live online here.

December 8th: Holidays for Heroes
Come and assemble a military care package to support deployed troops. Starting at 5 PM and going until 8 (34846 Monte Vista Dr. in Wildomar), snacks and supplies will be provided. Donate $20 to the cause or register to participate here. They are also collecting donations of new snacks, deodorant, Q-Tips, lip balm, sunscreen, lotion, socks, disposable razors, foot powder, and holiday cards.
December 8th-19: Winter Lights Kingdom Drive Through
Experience a Christmas drive thru unlike any other! Lights, projectors, life size animal sculptures, and letters to Santa. You can reserve tickets here.
December 10th: Outdoor Christmas Pageant
Come hear the story of Christmas, presented by the Gateway Church of the Nazarene from 6:30 - 7:30 PM (23560 Jefferson Ave. Murrieta).
December 11th: Visit with Santa
Guests of all ages will enjoy visiting with Santa and viewing the Motte Museum's vintage/classic car and community museum. Bring a camera! Admission is free and is open from 11AM-3PM. (28380 Hwy 74, Menifee)
December 11th: Menifee Breakfast with Santa
Santa will stop by Menifee in a special appearance for Menifee residents to take photos and enjoy fun activities. Each participant above the age of two is required to register as space is limited. The price per participant is $10 and registration is now open. Email specialevents@cityofmenifee.us for more info.
December 11th: Perris Annual Christmas Parade
Join the city of Perris from 10:00 a.m. — 12:00 p.m. on the downtown D Street Route for a holiday parade. Enjoy school bands, equestrian units, floats, classic cars, youth and dance groups, military entries and much more. Parade entry applications are being accepted at the Bob Glass Gymnasium. $10.00 per entry and $100.00 per band. Deadline to register is November 26, 2021.
December 12th: Our Lady of Guadalupe
Come and join St. Vincent Ferre Church as they host a holiday midnight mass (27931 Murrieta Rd. Menifee).

December 13th: Christmas Painting Night
Come and learn to paint a Christmas Scene at 6 PM with the Women's Ministry of the Valley Seventh Day Adventists (29885 Bradley Rd. Menifee). $20 per attendee. Dinner will be served. RSVP by December 6th here.
December 14th: Christmas with the Katinas
Join the Revival Fellowship for an evening of worship led by the Katinas. The Katinas are five brothers from American Samoa whose voices blend in beautiful harmonies to enrich our time of worship. December 15-21: Santa on Wheels
The City of Menifee is offering personal 15 minute visits from Santa to Menifee residents only. Santa can stop at a private party, house, or gathering, making an interactive and personalized memory. $35 per visit. Registration is available in-person only at the Community Services Department (29995 Evans. Rd. Menifee)
December 15-23: Simbang Gabi
Anticipate Christmas in this nine-day devotional series of Masses. All masses are held at 5:30 AM except for December 19th (5AM) and December 23 (7:00 PM). All services will be held at the St. Vincent Ferrer Church (27931 Murrieta Rd. Menifee).
December 18th: Perris Breakfast with Santa
Join Perris Community Services from 9:00 AM -11:00 AM at city hall for a tasty breakfast with Santa Claus. Bring your family and friends to meet Santa and his elves. Bring a camera or have us take a photo in a festive frame for only $3.00.
December 24: Christmas Eve Services
